Sheep + cropping 100k-120k 4 bed family home on farm Meridian Agriculture is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to take on a long-term leadership role with a progressive 6,500ha mixed enterprise located in Mathoura, between Echuca and Deniliquin. This third-generation, family-owned property has a proud history and strong reputation for producing premium wool and prime lambs. The sheep enterprise runs 5,000 self-replacing Merino and White Suffolk sheep and includes a well-regarded Merino stud, supported by mixed cropping operations. Working within a supportive, hands-on ownership structure, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the farm’s future while enjoying a stable, family-friendly work environment. The Role You will lead the livestock program while overseeing all areas of the operation. About the opportunity The purpose of a Peer Worker isn’t about therapy, or having to talk about suicide, it is about connecting with someone who has some shared experience of suicidality and recovery. It is focused on empowering people by providing compassion, guidance, encouragement, motivation and follow-up. Peer Workers will support individuals to develop skills, confidence, and knowledge to improve their wellbeing and community connections. They will encourage them to engage actively with their care team, including their Support Coordinator, to maximise the benefit they can receive from these services. Recreation & Arts

Edward River is home to the Outback Theatre for Young People, Deniliquin Theatre Company, South West Arts and the South West Music Regional Conservatorium. The Conservatorium provides instrumental and vocal programs for children and adults, as well as hosting regular recitals and fine music concerts by visiting artists.

The region boasts a number of excellent sport and recreational facilities, including Golf and Bowling Clubs, horse racing, and the Deniliquin Sports Stadium which plays host to basketball, indoor netball, cricket, gymnastics and more. Sporting clubs include football, netball, soccer, rugby union, athletics, martial arts, boxing and tennis. Deniliquin also has a skate park, pony club, an outdoor pool open seasonally and an indoor heated pool open year-round.
