Do you have a passion for working with young people and inspiring them to thrive? Temora Shire Council is looking for an energetic, community-minded individual to take on the role of Youth Program Coordinator.
This isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to make a real difference. Every week, you’ll help create opportunities for young people to build confidence, learn new skills, and discover their place in the community. From running workshops and events to supporting youth-led projects, you’ll be at the heart of programs that promote teamwork, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering exciting youth programs, school holiday activities, and community events.
Using your creativity to manage social media content that celebrates and promotes youth voices.
Supporting mentors and building partnerships with local schools, businesses, and community groups.
Bringing energy and organisation to everything from budgeting and reporting to event coordination.
Being flexible and hands-on – whether it’s hosting workshops at Platform Y, helping run Youth Week, or pitching in at a community event.
The role:
Permanent part-time, 20 hours per week, with some flexibility to work from home.
Grade 4 of Council’s Salary Structure (depending on experience), plus superannuation.
Based within Council’s Economic & Community Development team.
