Welding/Boilermaker Apprenticeship (Light Fabrication)

Job Description As an apprentice, you will learn a wide range of fabrication skills including welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly while working alongside experienced tradespeople. You'll gain valuable knowledge in stainless-steel fabrication, interpreting drawings, using workshop machinery, and producing safety equipment used across a variety of industries. This is a full-time apprenticeship offering 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with one RDO per month. Benefits: * RDO each month * The ability to earn money while learning a trade * Obtain a Nationally recognised qualification * Mentoring from experienced industry professionals * All training fees paid for * PPE provided throughout the apprenticeship Duties may include: * Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task * Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, or hammering metal products to produce parts. * Using hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines. * Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures. * Adding finishing touches to products in the form of cleaning, polishing, filing, and adding protective or decorative finishes.
