Position Overview Table 451 Eat + Drink is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter to join the front-of-house team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality table service, ensure excellent customer experiences, and support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Welcoming and seating customers, presenting menus, and providing detailed explanations of menu items. Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system. Serving food and drinks to tables in a timely and professional manner. Checking on customers during service to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns. Recommending dishes, beverages, and specials to enhance the dining experience. Clearing tables and resetting them for the next service. Processing customer payments, including cash and electronic transactions. Coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and efficient service. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, service stations, and equipment. Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements. Skills and Requirements Relevant qualification in hospitality or at least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge of food, beverages, and table service procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain). Professional presentation and a positive team-oriented attitude.
