We are here to learn, to grown, to achieve and to create genuine connections within our community.The Position Deliver high-level technical support that brings events to life at the Albury Entertainment Centre, working closely with clients, hirers, and patrons. Operate and manage lighting, sound, audiovisual, and stage systems, while maintaining the building, plant, and equipment to ensure the venue performs at its best as a dynamic performing arts, conference, and function space.Tasks and responsibilities To work with the Operations Coordinator to ensure that the technical services are operating in a safe and professional standard at the highest level To implement all required aspects associated with conducting and facilitating technical requirements of the venue and events, including theatre conference and meetings, exhibitions, and functions To safely and efficiently set up, maintain and operate stage lighting, sound, audio visual equipment, special needs, and stage machinery To liaise with other team members within the venue to ensure necessary support and participation in events To ensure that all AlburyCity WHS procedures, including risk assessments, reporting incidents and hazards are considered in all aspects of work activities Qualifications and experience Class C Drivers (standard) licence (compulsory to have and maintain) First Aid Certificate Experience working within a live theatre environment or an entertainment venue Broad experience of stage craft including sound, lighting, audio visual, flying and rigging Hours Based on 38 hours per week, working across a 7-day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance with facility roster, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO.
