This inlcudes coordination and inclusion of relevant projects within the various contributions plans into Council's long term Financial Plan, Operational Plan and Delivery Plan. Tasks and responsibilities
Monitor and review Council’s current Infrastructure Contribution Plans to ensure they comply with legislative requirements and are up to date, clear, comprehensive, effective, and accurate. Lead and coordinate planning studies and business plans which will inform the content of Council’s new Infrastructure Contributions Planning Framework in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 and any Infrastructure Contributions Guidelines Project manage the development and implementation of Council’s Infrastructure Contributions Plan Work widely across Council and in particular with Council’s Engineering and Community & Recreation Groups to develop, review, and prepare new Infrastructure Contribution Plans; including if required, business plans for second tier Contributions Plans, public domain improvement plans, and other associated infrastructure delivery plans. Qualifications and experience Degree (or working towards) in urban planning, civil engineering or a related discipline. Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain). Relevant experience within Local Government and/or related planning authority. Demonstrated experience in developing and/or reviewing Section 94 Plans. Financial accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting and reconciliations. Hours Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.Benefits Live and work in a culture-rich location minutes from the Murray River, just a short drive to one of Victoria’s best wine regions and with the ski fields so close you will be zooming down the mountains in under two hours.
