We are looking for an individual to work effectively as a part of the Plant, Fleet & Stores Team assisting with the organisation and management of inventory supplies within the store, and storage areas within the Alan Turner Depot. What we will offer you: Permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week). Remuneration package of $2,463.50 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,956.20 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%). Your new role: As the Stores Assistant, you will ensure stock levels are maintained, products are stored appropriately, and regular inventory checks are conducted for quality and accuracy, as well as support stock-related tasks and provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Duties of this position will include but are not limited to: Assisting internal stakeholders with order fulfilments, assisting with picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch and or collection. Ensuring a high-level of customer service and customer satisfaction. Assisting internal stakeholders’ product information and enquiries. Assisting order processing and documentation, managing returns and exchanges with internal and external stakeholders. Assisting with stores warehouse inventory system and functions including stocktaking. Ensure stock levels are relevant to organisational requirements. Undertaking administrative tasks relevant to the role. Assisting with hire arrangements for internal and externally owned fleet. Conducting maintenance and repairs throughout the Alan Turner Depot including external grounds, and security procedures. Utlising and maintain small items of plant, equipment, tools (hand and power) and personal protective equipment and clothing (PPE/C) in accordance with Council standards. The successful applicant will have: 1. Class C Driver’s Licence. 2. General Construction Induction Training Card. 3. National Certificate of Competency Forklift (Class LF). 4. Front End Loader Certificate (Class LL). 5. Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations (RIIHAN309F). 6. Current AQF Chemical Safety Certificate (Desirable). What is next?
