About the role Tru Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Steel Detailer/Project Manager to join our dynamic team in South Albury, NSW. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the design and delivery of innovative architectural projects, utilising your exceptional technical skills and project management expertise.
What you'll be doing
Prepare detailed steel fabrication drawings and specifications for a variety of architectural projects
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to coordinate the steel design and fabrication process
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects
Provide technical support and guidance to project stakeholders throughout the construction process
Identify and resolve any design or fabrication issues that may arise, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our steel detailing and project management practices
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Steel Detailer or Project Manager in the construction industry
Proficient in the use of CAD software for steel detailing, such as AutoCAD.
CAD software proficiency is essential for this role
Strong technical understanding of steel design, fabrication, and construction methods
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field would be highly regarded
Must have current Australian work authorisation rights
Must have current drivers license
