Harnest , part of the Mazzei Group, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery of our new Regional Housing Fund (RHF) Wodonga Project – a $16 million medium-density community comprising 41 new homes built under Victoria’s Big Housing Build .
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a socially impactful regional project, managing every on-site element from early civil works through to final handover.
What You’ll Do
Oversee construction delivery of a 41-home medium-density community under an AS D&C Government Contract
Manage civil interfaces , services coordination, and staging within an existing brownfield residential site
Drive program, budget, and quality outcomes in line with social-procurement and compliance standards
Lead and mentor site teams and subcontractors to maintain safety, quality, and teamwork on-site
Conduct daily site coordination meetings, inspections, inductions, and reporting
Collaborate with Project Managers, consultants, and client representatives to ensure smooth communication and milestone delivery
What You’ll Bring
5–10+ years’ experience delivering multi-unit residential, townhouse, or community housing projects
Proven ability to manage regional or live-environment sites with multiple stakeholders
Strong grasp of BCA, Australian Standards, OH&S, and local authority requirements
Trade background or Cert IV/Diploma in Construction Management
Solid reporting and scheduling capability (Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar)
