About the RoleCiviltest Pty Ltd, a leading provider of laboratory and technical services across Australia, is currently seeking Soil Technicians to join our Mornington and Thomastown branches. These full-time positions involve conducting a broad range of soil testing and analyses to support infrastructure, and construction projects across the state.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct soil testing procedures, including moisture content, density, particle size analysis, and Atterberg limitsAccurately document and report test results in compliance with industry standards and company protocolsCollaborate with project managers and clients to determine testing requirements and provide technical supportMaintain and calibrate laboratory and field equipment to ensure consistent, reliable resultsFollow strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines in both laboratory and on-site environmentsWork with the broader technical team to identify and implement process improvementsWhat We're Looking ForCertificate III in Laboratory Techniques or a related technical qualificationMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar soil testing or laboratory role is preferredStrong knowledge of soil testing procedures and relevant industry standards will be an advantageHigh attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality resultsStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholdersProven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCurrent driver’s licenseAbout Civiltest Pty LtdAt Civiltest, we pride ourselves on delivering accurate, reliable laboratory and technical services to support critical infrastructure and construction projects across Australia.
