About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing road safety initiatives in line with Transport for NSW and the Narrandera Shire Council Road Safety Program.

Duties
Key Responsibility Areas include:
Road Safety behavioural programs Developing and implementing an annual council road safety action plan to address local road safety issues and improve road safety outcomesCommunity Safety initiatives Liaison with local liquor accords, police, Council, schools, Transport for NSW and other key stakeholders to provide a road safety perspectiveFunding submissions Write funding submissions for Local Government Road Safety Projects and other relevant funding opportunities.Road Safety issues, advice and information Work closely with community groups, media and key stakeholders to deliver the road safety message and contribute to road safety outcomes and provide Council and the community with advice in relation to road safety issues and related areas.For more information please refer to the Position Description.
