About the role:Insight Private Hospital – Albury’s premier boutique short-stay hospital, currently has positions available for Registered Nurses to join the Dynamic Surgical Team on a part time basis with a minimum 72 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster.Duties and responsibilities:Insight is responsible for the delivery of day-to-day patient care needs for Orthopaedic Elective and Emergency/Trauma patients along with Complex and General Short Stay Surgical patients.This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient careEnsure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgeryEnsure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focusMonitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complicationsDeliver education and support to patients for the management of their recoverySupervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shiftAbout You:You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
