We are currently looking for a qualified Welder to join our team working across our Griffith and Leeton branches. To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to hold a Certificate IV in Engineering - Metal Fabrication and demonstrate proven hands-on technical experience - including MIG and TIG welding, plasma cutting, and oxy/acetylene techniques. You will also need to have: A willingness to learn and grow with the roleStrong organisation and time management skillsPride in your work and high standards of qualityThe ability to work well in a team and communicateReliability and a strong work ethicA strong understanding of safe work practices and equipment maintenance Responsibilities will include , but will not be limited to: Carrying out general welding and fabrication including but not limited to piping systems, pump frames and floating suctions, in accordance with design plans and manufacturers instructionsConducting repairs and servicing equipment for customersUndertaking installation of new and fabricated components along with associated pipework and equipment.Carrying out general welding duties which include the use of MIG and TIG, Plasma Cutter, Oxy/Acetylene cutting, grinding.Completing accurate and timely job cards for all work carried out ensuring all labour, materials, plant and consumables are recorded.Ensuring all tools, plant and equipment are stored, maintained and serviced in accordance with manufacturers requirements.Following all applicable WHS requirements and practices to ensure the safety of self and others.
