Our client Go.Farm is seeking an Agriculture and Mobile Plant Operator to join their team located in Griffith, New South Wales.

Position Overview
Operate and maintain a range of agricultural machinery safely and efficiently to support soil cultivation, planting, fertilizing, harvesting, and other essential farm operations. Deliver high-quality farm outputs and uphold equipment readiness and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, operate, and adjust tractors and implements (ploughs, seed drills, cultivators, rotary tillers, disc harrows, chisel ploughs) for precise operations in ploughing, seeding, cultivating, fertilising, and harvesting. Utilize GPS-guided systems and onboard technology to monitor machine performance—ensuring accurate seed depth, spacing, distribution, and overall effectiveness. Clean, inspect, service, and conduct minor repairs on mobile plant machinery and attachments, maintaining safety and operational readiness. Maintain comprehensive work records: machine hours, calibration settings, maintenance, yields, and incident logs. Perform general on farm upkeep, including installing and repairing fences; setting up and maintaining irrigation and drainage systems; clearing laneway. Load, transport, and unload crops, inputs, and equipment safely across farm sites. Conduct regular field inspections to identify weeds, pests, or crop stress and report findings to agronomists or farm management. Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills
AQF Certificate II or III in Agriculture or At least one (1) year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed At least one (1) year of experience operating mobile plant machinery such as Tractors, Telehandlers, Skid Steers and Sprayers. Prior experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting is required Valid HR licence Forklift licence Agricultural Chemicals Certificate Proficient in using modern agricultural equipment, GPS tech, and precision tools. Demonstrated maintenance ability: routine servicing, minor repairs, and troubleshooting Strong record-keeping skills and commitment to safety and compliance.
