As a Services Assistant , you’ll be a key part of our healthcare team, providing vital services that enhance patient comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering delicious meals to clients, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring everything is fresh and organized through laundry duties. Every task you perform contributes directly to creating a supportive and caring atmosphere for patients and staff. Essential Criteria
Basic knowledge of safe working conditions
Basic knowledge of Food Safety Standards
Basic knowledge of Infection Control Standards, including cleaning and sanitizing processes
Basic knowledge and commitment to customer service principles
Knowledge of computer packages eg. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel
Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act and Risk Management principles.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:
DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
