Job Description
Due to the resignation of a long-term employee, an opportunity has become available for a qualified Mechanic to join their experienced team of five technicians.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing faults and repairing a range of equipment, including:
* Forklifts
* Plant and construction equipment
* Diesel-powered machinery
Working both in the workshop and on-site, you'll deliver high-quality service to customers through preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault diagnosis.
About the Candidate
* Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
* Current Driver's Licence (forklift licence highly regarded)
* Experience working with hydraulics
* Strong diagnostic and servicing skills, ideally within the materials handling, plant or heavy equipment industry
* A commitment to safe work practices
* The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a small team
