We’re seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer or Accountant to join our finance team in Yenda NSW. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance across operations. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the maintenance of average costing system for materials.
Assist with the integrity of costings and variances in the stock system
Preparation of general ledger journals
Reviewing transactions to ensure integrity
Assist with the management of company assets
Assist in preparation of monthly reporting
Assist in preparation of financial data for submission to external bodies as required
Assist with preparation of Insurance costings and submission of Workers Compensation Insurance
Participate in internal audits
Assist with statutory compliance including FBT returns and statutory accounts
Co-ordinate accounting and non-financial data with other departments
Ensure effective use of systems to improve efficiency
Adhere to WHS policies and procedures and support safety initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with accounting software
Advanced Excel skills
Desirable:
Experience using EZY Wine software
Background in manufacturing or production environments
