Job Description
We're looking for a reliable Farm Hand to join a well-run mixed farming enterprise at Lake Cowal, NSW.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across all areas of a farming operation. You'll be involved in cropping, livestock, machinery operation and general farm duties, working closely with the Farm Manager and wider team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with cropping operations including sowing, spraying, haymaking and harvest
* Operate and maintain a range of modern farm machinery
* Undertake livestock duties including feeding, mustering and general animal care
* Assist with pasture management and general farm maintenance
* Complete repairs, fencing and other property maintenance as required
* Carry out general day-to-day farm duties as part of the wider team
* Ensure machinery, equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard
* Work safely and efficiently across all areas of the farming operation
About the Candidate
* Previous agriculture industry exposure
* Machinery operation experience is desireable
* Comfortable working with livestock
* Reliable, hardworking and willing to get involved in all aspects of farm work
* Able to work independently while also contributing to a team
* Flexible and adaptable to the seasonal demands of farming
