Eastern Riverina Arts seeks a creative, strategic and multi-skilled professional to lead the organisation’s communication and stakeholder engagement activities. The Communications and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for amplifying Eastern Riverina Arts' profile through an engaging suite of communications across our website, newsletter, social media accounts, publications and in-person interactions. They will deepen our relationships with creative practitioners, arts organisations and government to maximise connection and opportunity in our region. Through artful visual storytelling and savvy strategic communications, they will excite and grow our region’s creative appetite. This role will enhance Eastern Riverina Arts' impact by developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing strategic initiatives with partners, and positioning Eastern Riverina Arts as a leading advocate for the arts and creative industries sector. The Communications & Engagement Coordinator will also play a pivotal role in increasing participation in the arts, strengthening Eastern Riverina Arts' brand presence and ensuring the success of key initiatives such as Creative Riverina, the Riverina Touring Network and the Station Creative Workspace. But this role is not just a desk job. You’ll provide advice and support to artists and community groups, coordinate workshops and events, and contribute to strategic arts and cultural projects and collaborations across our service region. Eastern Riverina Arts enriches, inspires and connects our region by fostering arts, culture, creative industry and community. We are the peak body for arts and cultural development in our region and part of a network of arts organisations across regional New South Wales. We work in partnership with the eight Local Government Areas of Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Lockhart, Junee, Snowy Valleys, Temora and Wagga Wagga. Period of Employment: This is a temporary part time position. Period of employment is from commencement until 31/03/26. Remuneration: Starting at $38 p/h based on experience and qualifications plus Superannuation in line with the Super Guarantee Working Hours: Part-time 22.5 hours a week. Some weekends and evenings may be required. Additional hours may become available dependent on project funding. Location: The position will be based in Wagga Wagga. Some travel around the region will be required as well as travel for professional development opportunities. Flexible working arrangements will be considered for the appropriate candidate.
