We are here to learn, to grown, to achieve and to create genuine connections within our community.The Position The Budget Process Improvement Special Projects Lead provides support, advice and guidance to AlburyCity leaders who have been assigned responsibility for implementing recommendations from the Internal Budget Process Review and the external Budget Review and Analysis Independent Audit. We ensure Albury is a great place to live, work and invest. Qualifications & experience Tertiary qualification in a related field or demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role. Ability to develop, maintain both internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve outcomes that contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals. Experience in developing financial management policy and procedures Experience working in Local Government Tasks & responsibilities Work with and assist relevant AlburyCity leaders with the development of an implementation plan to address recommendations from the internal Budget Process Review and the external Budget Review and Analysis Independent Audit. Coordinate the review and update of AlburyCity’s Financial Sustainability Improvement Plan. Establish a governance structure to guide the establishment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the actions plans. Facilitate collaboration among leaders, subject matter experts, and contributors. Schedule and lead where required regular coordination meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
