We are here to learn, to grown, to achieve and to create genuine connections within our community.The Position To deliver Council's key Accounts Payable (AP) processes within the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) framework, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant processing of creditor transactions, invoice intake, digital workflow management, supplier maintenance, and completion of financial and system reconciliations. The role also includes invoice scanning validation, workflow distribution and inbox monitoring, as well as preparing and completing Council’s scheduled payment run processes.Tasks and responsibilities Allocation and distribution of all creditor invoices across the organisation for authorisation in a timely manner in accordance with Council's terms & conditions. Respond and monitor enquiries from internal and external customers that require attention. Ensure that invoices are reviewed, corrected as required, and flow through the payment systems correctly. Maintain, update, and create vendor master records - including setting up new suppliers to ensure accuracy, compliance and integrity of the Financial Management System. Filing of creditor and other relevant documentation in line with policies and procedures. Qualifications and experience Competition of HSC (Year 12) or equivalent Relevant experience working in a financial environment Hours Based on a 35 hour week, working a minimum of 28 hours per week, with actual days and times being to be negotiated with the supervisor.Benefits Live and work in a culture-rich location minutes from the Murray River, just a short drive to one of Victoria’s best wine regions and with the ski fields so close you will be zooming down the mountains in under two hours.
