Job Description
* Provide person-centred support to help customers achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
* Support customers with daily living activities, personal care, health routines and community access.
* Follow support plans, behaviour support strategies and safety procedures.
* Use calm communication and positive approaches when responding to behaviours of concern.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
* Be reliable, patient and committed to delivering high-quality support.
* Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
Work Environment
* Availability: Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts., * NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid and CPR
* Full VIC Driver's licence
* International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
