Job Description
The position will be part of a team that plays an important role in maintaining and improving facilities and playgrounds in Parks, Reserves and Community facilities within the AlburyCity area.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Inspect and maintain the City's playground equipment and park facilitities.
* Ensure all required documentation is completed and recorded for playground and park inspections.
* Install playground equipment and park facilities.
* Ensure all routine maintenance to plant and equipment is carried out.
* Undertake quantity estimates, quotations, ordering and purchasing/delivery of materials for trade works on individual projects.
* Provide advice to groups and the public in an informed and professional manner., Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being 7am to 4pm (these times may vary due to operational requirements), Monday to Friday with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
About the Candidate
* Certificate III in Building, Construction, or Carpentry or a related field or relevant equivalent work experience
* Construction Induction Certificate
* Class C Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
