Job Description
Blakeney Lodge, a Residential Aged Care home, is seeking a reliable and caring Catering Assistant who may be open to a Housekeeping shift also to join our friendly hospitality team. In this hands-on role, you'll support daily food services and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting with meal preparation, plating, and service
Maintaining kitchen, servery, and dining area cleanliness
Following food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
Supporting residents with warm, respectful meal service
Working collaboratively with chefs and care teams

About the Candidate
Experience in catering, hospitality, or aged care (preferred)
Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Reliable, team-focused, and resident-centred
Ability to work flexible casual shifts
