Finley Returned Soldiers Club is a proud community club in the heart of Finley, serving locals and visitors with good food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Our bistro is busy and growing, and we’re looking for a reliable Casual Cook or Chef to join our kitchen team.
About the role
You’ll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver quality meals across lunch and dinner service. Shifts include days, nights, weekends and public holidays, with flexibility to suit the right person.
What you’ll be doing
Preparing and cooking dishes from our bistro menu to a consistent standardHelping with prep, stock rotation and ordering
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and food safe
Supporting busy services, functions and special events
Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
About you
Previous experience as a cook or chef in a commercial kitchen
Trade qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery) highly regarded, but not essential for the right person
Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Able to work calmly under pressure during busy periods
Reliable, punctual and a team player
Available for weekends and evenings
Must have full Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available.
