A&G Engineering is seeking motivated apprentices to join our Griffith, NSW manufacturing team in the following trades:
Welding & Fabrication
Fitter & Machinist

About You
No experience required, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia.
Completion of Year 10 or equivalent.
Applications welcome from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices.
Mature-age applicants encouraged to apply.
Currently enrolled in, or willing to undertake, a Certificate III in Engineering trade qualification.
Able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing an apprenticeship.
Apprentice Welding & Fabrication
You will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced tradespeople.
Key duties include:
Assisting with fabrication projects and stainless-steel manufacturing.
Learning to operate welding and fabrication equipment.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Cutting, grinding, and shaping metal materials.
Safely using hand and power tools.
Learning a variety of welding processes and techniques.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
Apprentice Fitter & Machinist
You will receive practical on-the-job training while working with experienced tradespeople.
Key duties include:
Assisting with machining, fitting, and assembly of mechanical components.
Learning to operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and CNC equipment.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality workmanship.
Assisting with servicing, repairs, and general workshop duties.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
